From 4th July we need to have some new processes to help protect our customers and staff.

At busy times, there’ll be a need to queue to enter the pub. Our bar staff are quite loud, so you’ll not miss your prompt to enter.

You’ll be able to order drinks and food from the bar, but drinking at the bar isn’t a thing right now. Cards or cash are accepted at the bar.

If you have a table, inside or out, you can put your feet up and we’ll serve you at your table. You’ll need to pay by card though.

Our toilets aren’t exactly spacious, so only two people can be in either the Ladies or Gents at any time. That means there’ll probably be a queue. Peeing in the bushes isn’t nice, so we’d advise planning your trip to the bogs in advance.

Don’t stand so close to me (did you know that Sting used to drink in the Schooner?). Please remember to maintain social distancing at all times while you’re with us.

Oh, we’ll need to ask you to give us your name, address and a contact number. We have a book for that. If you don’t want to touch it, we can give you a bit of paper.
